Special Situations
My current financial situation was not accurately reflected on the
FAFSA. Is there anything I can do to be reconsidered for additional aid?
In some cases, adjustments can be made. You may request a re-evaluation of your
financial aid file by completing a Special Circumstance Re-evaluation Request Form
for either FAFSA changes or Expense increases. These forms are available at http://affordability.ku.edu/.
Select the aid year that you're requesting the adjustment for and return it to our
office. Paper forms are also available in the office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. The deadline for reconsideration of your
current academic year financial aid is April 1st.
How can I become a legal resident of Kansas?
