Review your SAR
If you provided your email address on your FAFSA, you should receive your Student Aid Report (SAR) 5 to 7 days after filing. If you did not provide your email, your SAR will be mailed to you within 2-3 weeks. If you do not receive your SAR, call the Federal Processor at 800-433-3243.
Submitting additional information
If additional information is required to complete your financial aid file, you will receive an email notification. You may also check the items on your "To Do List" at Enroll & Pay.
If the information on your SAR is incorrect or additional information is requested, make corrections online at fafsa.gov using your PIN as your electronic signature. For questions about the correction process, call the Federal Processor at 800-433-3243.
Failure to submit requested information in a timely matter could affect your eligibility for some limited funded programs. Financial aid will not be awarded until all required additional information is received, processed, and your financial aid file is complete.
What's next?
If you're not selected for verification, expect an email indicating your awards, after which you'll have 30 days to Accept or Decline.
